Pink Saturday

Time for another Pink Saturday with Beverly and all her pink bloggers! Today is the 2nd anniversary of this celebration and I cheer all of you with an ice cold smoothie made with fresh Louisiana strawberries, mangoes, and orange juice!!

Our strawberries are really sweet and the season is much longer than it used to be. Here I have a whole tray frozen and ready to put up for future use, smoothies or ice cream. Aren't they pretty against that blue pan?

I didn't participate last weekend but did sneak in during the week and found a wonderful blog added to the list, Two Crazy Crafters. Great projects with the vintage look that I love!! Have fun hopping around to visit and have a wonderful pink week!!

I always LOVED Louisianna strawberries and this smoothie looks wonderful. Loved browsing over your blog. Your grandchildren are soooo cute. Sorry to hear about your Mom. Must be very sad right now. She seems like a delightful woman. Loved the pic with her crown.

Blessings,
Tricia

If there is a knock on your door, it is me coming for a smoothie! That made my mouth water....Isn't this a wonderful season with strawberries and more fruits to come? I wait all winter for this!

I am sorry about your Mom and I am full understanding. I lost mine 13years ago and while the acute pain is gone, the missing is not!
Happy Pink Saturday!

Oh, I'm so glad I stopped by. I needed that smoothy to wash down all the cake I've eaten today at everyones Pink Saturday Parties. The strawberries have really been good this year in Texas, too.

Two Crazy Crafters is one of the neatest blogs around, and they have such special scrapbook and crafting posts. They are also so generous with there vintage images. I love their blog, too.

Come on by CollectInTexas Gal for some calorie free cake.

What a delicious looking smoothie and your frozen strawberries look like they came right out of the pages of a magazine. Too cute in their blue pan.

Sue, I can't find an email address for you, thus my reply to your comment here. Some of the smudges are not really smudges, but part of the design I drew. If I transfer using film, I remove the film before the medium dries. If transfer is on paper and being applied to a substrate, I let the medium dry (after burnishing well) before I remove the paper using water - make sense? 'hope so!

That smoothie looks sooooo delicious! I'm trying to grow some strawberries here in Oregon, a few started to get red and I think the birds got to them. But I'll keep trying! x
