Pink Saturday and Houston Quilt Show

Good morning to everyone and happy pink halloween? Somehow that doesn't sound right. I haven't posted in forever so I'm glad to finally be back here today with y'all. All the quilts below are from the Houston Quilt Show and are fabulous works of art. Please enlarge them to really see the work. I hope y'all enjoy them all and have a great day visiting the pink gals with Beverly!!

The Winner

This was my favorite but unfortunately the colors aren't showing well here. Flickr is better.

Another fave-love the colors in here!

The garments were equally astounding!

And of course I have to include some pictures of my grand babies who are so grown up now!

Happy Halloween!

The quilts are beautiful and perfect for Pink Saturday. I must say, though, those grandbabies stole the show. They really are cutie-pies. Have a great weekend.

The word awesome is not enough to describe those works of art. They are gorgeous, and of course your little pumpkin huggers are just adorable.

Beautiful quilts and gorgeous grandchildren! My absolute favorite quilt is the one with the circles. Lagniappe is one of my favorite words! It drew me in to your blog : )
I grew up near Louisiana and heard that word often. Now in MI, not many have heard it. Hope you have a wonderful PS

Smiles,
Tricia

Hello, HPS (I'm participating vicariously) and happy Halloween. Lovely Post! My favorite holiday is today because it involves costumes and fantasy. And candy of course, but I'm not indulging in that this year. I am at the store, dressed up as a witch and looking very scary I'm sure.

Have a great day! xJ

Yep the quilts are amazing alright and I hate I missed the show as I had planned to go last year also. But as lovely as the quilts are they cannot compare with the perky beauty of the babes. Enjoy every second of their lives as they are fleeting for sure.
