pink saturday mittens

pink saturday mittens, originally uploaded by suesueb.

these are my first knitted mittens! not too hard. i made them for the "heart to hands" to send to kids in LOCKPORT, New York. a friend pointed out that coincidence since i missed it. (i live in lockport, LA). i hope to do a red pair and then ship them off this week. check out all the PINK blogs on pink saturday through "how sweet the sound".

Sue, your pink mittens are perfectly lovely. The Lockport coincidence is wild. Red is always a good color for mittens as they are easy to see. When we were kids our mittens were on a string that went through our coat. Less chance to lose them. I hated wearing a snowsuit. LOL.

Hugs, Jeanne

Hi Suesue! It's so nice to meet your! Oh, your mittens are so nice and pink. Your knitting looks very nice to me, too and I wish I could knit. I can crochet but just can't knit. How nice you're giving these to some one who needs them.

Mittens, wow ... I haven't tried to knit anything since I was less than 12 years old, and that's more than 40 years ago. They're a great pink color, so rosy and sweet!
