HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

these are tags i made for a tag book swap with jessica. we received our books thursday and they are so much fun!!! each tag is so different and i love them all! i used these alphabet cards and added a phrase or word to each. thanks to jessica and all the creative minds who participated!

a dress for georgia. i had so much fun making this one. tried different methods for the stars, intarsia, stranding, but finally decided to duplicate stitch them. the red thread showed too much behind the white. really happy with the way it turned out and can't wait to see her wear it!

happy fourth of july to everyone! thanks to kari and kijsa for letting us share our love of country! i love this holiday. celebrating with family and friends makes it special and it's also my oldest daughter's birthday. it's hard to believe she'll be 28 with a baby of her own. my holiday decorations include a long-legged uncle sam i made quiet a few years ago and some beautiful pieces by Dee Foust. hope your holiday is joyful and filled with love! stay safe!!

i had to include this picture of an order i received today from peacoats and party hats. the colors aren't traditional red, white and blue but it sure is close! i love the cherry charms!!
