Playing along with Kootoyoo again this Thursday. I'm trying to get a head start on Easter dresses for Georgia and Avery. This is an adorable smocking pattern with bunnies and flowers. I'll put one bunny on Avery's and three on Georgia's. Not perfect but made with love!

ReplyDeletewow smocking, that's something I've never tried, not sure i have the patience! lovely work, well done.
ReplyDeleteOh handsmocked pieces are so adorable! I don't hink, they have to be pefect. I remember when our mom once smocked a skirt, she was really stressed. I think, that experience is preventing me from trying it out. But I'm always in love with the result of this technique.
ReplyDeleteI can’t wait to see them all finished. My mum kept all the hand smocked dresses my Nanna made my cousin and I as kids ….. I just love the look of smoking, so pretty, I am sure your little ones will look adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteLove to see children wearing smocked clothing, especially when done by someone who cherishes them!
